Close Reading of Sonnet 45: The lover describeth his being striken with sight of his love

Lines 1-4: The first couple lines show how much he loves her lively and adorable eyes.

Line 5-6: Show how even though this woman is sweet and beautiful, she shows defiance and a strong sense of will.  She is unwavering in her rejection.

Lines:7-9: Show how crushed/powerful those eyes of rejection are, how they impact him (“one stricken with dint of lightening”)

The last few line show the heart break of rejection and how much it affects the man.
